Did not have to pay for parking.
The cleaning products used left an unpleasant smell.
Most travelers would like the free breakfast in the morning.

It was quiet.
The air freshener used in the hallway stunk.
Though this hotel was about 4 miles north of the north most boundary of the area selected, the quality and pleasantness of my stay was only just adequate. The hotel had a 'standard level of unattractive decor.' the foul smelling hallways required me to breathe through my mouth!

Nice sized room, clean.
The location was a bit away from the city.
This was a surprisingly nice facility. It did not look that good from the outside but inside and in the rooms it was clean, roomy and comfortable. We would stay again.

The staff - incredibly friendly, warm and helpful to us.
The breakfast area was crowded everyday, and it was hard to get through the room. Rearrange the furniture would help lots.
The quality of our stay was excellent due to the attentiveness of the staff- particularly head front desk and head housekeeper. Even though the location was north of central Seattle and a bit inconvenient, I would go back to this hotel because of these two people.

The breakfast was pathetic, at best.
The hotel was fine. Also, the room took nearly an hour to get into it after check-in, so we had to wait.

The room was larger than expected with a phenomenal view of the city/mountains.
The hotel manager was not very accommodating or understanding.
Overall, I was pleased with my experience at this Best Western. Very large room with a great view of the city (Seattle) and mountains. This was to my surprise as the hotel seemed to be in an end of town which was not the best (but definitely not the worst). My biggest frustration came when we arrived at 1:00pm and an employee (who we came to find out was one of the general managers at the hotel), would not let us check in and did not offer any kind of hospitality or understanding. I understand that hotels work on specific time schedules, but at least offer to check our bags or something? We were, however, referred to a very good restaurant and some good clubs/bars that night by another hotel staff member. I would say that this hotel earned its two or three star rating. read more
