The knowledgeable staff and quick access to a taxi service.
The location is not conducive to tourism. The elevator reeked for two days.

The hotel is entirely adequate. It neither exceeds expectations nor disappoints. It was a clean comfortable place to lay your head. With an extensive continental breakfast and a 24 hour pool & hot tub. Perfect to relax after a day of site seeing. The staff was perfectly aware of its remote location and so was knowledgeable in helpful tips. Good for business travelers but for tourists I'd spend the extra bucks for a more central location. read more

The distance from downtown.

Overall, the experience was good, but the location was not what we expected. It was miles from downtown and miles for the University - which was part of the description of the area. The staff was very helpful.

Smoking room (ugh), poor shower curtain that leaks water.

Clean, affordable, and comfortable. Good for families, seniors on a budget, or business travelers. Consistent quality. No pedestrian amenities within walking distance.

Compared to the hourly motels that are closer to Seattle, I imagine that the hotel employees were friendlier, and the facilities were cleaner.

If all Holiday Inn Express places were like this one, I'd stay in them every time. This inn really seems to care about providing a positive experience for the traveler. All the details are right. The breakfasts offer a huge array of good food, from high calorie to low. The place is super-clean. At check-in, we asked for a quiet room and certainly got one. Internet is freely provided in the lobby. The decor is fresh and tasteful, nothing is shabby about this Holiday Inn Express. The desk clerk recommended a restaurant with THE best burgers. read more
