The lobby was nice.
Hard beds, thin walls.
It had super thin walls and hard beds. The rooms were old, the plaster aging, the paint jobs poor. All of which they attempted to cover up by adding fancy features like an iPod clock radio and a nice TV. That doesn't work.

Great front desk staff, comfy beds.
Flimsy plastic furnishings.
Hotel Deca is the old Meany Towers with a modest face lift. The beds are very comfortable but nothing else justifies the 3.5 star rating. Useful if you have reason to be in the U. District or North Seattle.

It is elegant, feels safe and is in a great location.
I enjoyed it very much, will recommend it to friends and will return next time I am in Seattle.
