It is conveniently located in the heart of the citys shopping, dining, entertainment, theatre, museums and local attractions. Hyatt at Olive 8 guest rooms is contemporary in style with green housekeeping programs practiced and energy efficient fixtures. All rooms are equipped with Watt Stopper master power controls for lighting to conserve electricity. A king room features one Hyatt Grand Bed, glass walk-in shower, with dual flush toilet, Bricor water-reducing shower heads to conserve water. Wired, wireless high speed internet access is available at a supplement. Elaia, our eco-friendly adult spa, an urban oasis dedicated to your well being, offers organic treatments in our 12 treatment suites together with a 65 foot saline lap pool on site. A day pass could be purchased to access the steam, sauna, locker room and lap pool. Guests have complimentary access to our 2,500 sq ft Fitness Center. Our Coffee & Wine Bar provides an excellent venue for casual gatherings, breakfast, and savour unique Pacific Northwest wine. Urbane, focuses on Northwest cuisine, with a farm to table concept, seasonal menu all day dining. Attractive, modern, downtown hotel.
Valet parking was expensive.

Hotel is very modern, with an upscale, muted decor. The room was well decorated, with nice touches such as an iPod-dock capable alarm clock, LCD HDTV with hookups for a laptop & portable media players to the TV. Standard room is long, but not wide. It helps that the closet space is is essentially in-wall. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The only real negative is the pricing of the valet parking (approx $38 with tax). However, if you're looking for a new, modern hotel in the heart of downtown Seattle, you'd be hard-pressed to do better than the Hyatt at Olive 8. My wife & I are going back in March! read more

With the new modern design of hotels there seems to be a loss for warmth.

Very top notch facility, very deserving of its four star level.

The bed was not as comfortable as it should have been.

The hotel was fun for a week-end during Christmas time. It was easy to travel about the area.
