The hotel staff was outstanding; extremely helpful!
The location; I thought it was closer to downtown

The hotel was clean and comfortable and much cheaper than I anticipated. Since it was more than walking distance from where we wanted to be, we were able to use the free shuttle to get back and forth from downtown. All in all, a nice experience.

The location was great for us area visits, but away from the usual hustle and bustle of the area.
The parking can be somewhat difficult. The same lot is used for the hotel and restaurant and does not seem to have enough spaces for a weekend night.

We have stayed in numerous hotels and motels in and around the UW-Madison area over the course of travel soccer and our son's 5 years at the university. This hotel was very reasonably priced compared to many others, and one of the most convenient for the area we were visiting. We did not have the opportunity to try the restaurant, but the rest of the facility was well kept and quiet despite the high occupancy rate the night we stayed. read more
