Comfort Inn & Suites Downtown Lakeshore

Used the hotel for its location, which is great. I was in MKE, for a wedding, with my girlfriend. The reception was at the Harbor Lights Room, right on the lakefront. The hotel was within walking distance. We got back around 2 am, so didn't have much time at there except to sleep. Shower had some dirty black stuff in the corner and you could tell it was very old and in need of renovation. Lots of mold around the vent/fan above the shower, too. Can't complain too much though. This is a solid basic hotel in a terrific location. Staff were personable and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. We took our free breakfast up to the roof-top patio and had a great time eating with a terrific view of the lake. I appreciated the exercise room.

Although the hotel was in downtown Milwaukee, most people seemed to have driven there. We, however, arrived on a red-eye flight. We waited in the lobby for eight hours for a room. The staff offered us nothing and refused to ask to have our room made up early. The housekeeping staff appeared to run the place.

When we arrived there was only one worker at the front desk and she seemed very frustrated. The phone in my room was broken. No pool at the hotel, and had to pay an additional ten dollars to park my truck over night. Had an awesome view of Lake Michigan.

Just alright. The bar in the lobby played loud music I could hear in my room till 3 am.

Decent hotel for a 1-2 night stay, if you want to be near the lake for summer fest, or the museums, etc. Quality of hotel & rooms was average: clean but not upscale Staff was friendly & helpful.

Parking was confusing. Bathroom very small. No place to set your things down. In room itself no extra counter space. Desk was already crowded with literature from hotel. But beds were clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was good. Even able to make your own waffles. Staff was friendly and helpful and hotel itself appeared to be clean.

Located close to the lakefront park and art gallery, in a nice neighborhood, very reasonable price.

Nice rooms and could not hear anything going on in other rooms- very nice.
