It's always Miller Time at this "grand" hotel built in 1927, where "old elegance" – an "ornate" marble entrance hall, "gorgeous rooms" and a ballroom – coexists with contemporary additions such as "Starbucks in the lobby" and an immense "indoor water park" for kids; the Downtown location is within "walking distance to restaurants, shopping, museums", "sports arenas and conference centers", but lovebirds are happy staying indoors, where the atmosphere is surprisingly "conducive to romantic feelings"; P.S. traveler's tip: the "outdoor parking next to the hotel" is cheaper than on-site.

The helpful & informative door staff/valet.
The water leak near the elevators & the dirty pool area.

Definitely not a 3 or 4 star hotel, but convenient if you have to be in downtown Milwaukee. Very dirty pool area with lots of kids. Hotel security was virtually invisible. If check-out time is going to be at AM, check-in time should be at least noon.

The Miller Lite Bar was nice to have just downstairs.
Pool area closed, hotel room bathroom was not to my satisfaction.

The room I received was small and cramped. Bathroom was upgraded but not to my satisfaction. The tub shell that was put in had water that was trapped underneath. The hotel room TV did not have capabilities of renting movies and had maybe 15 channels; including cable. Off street parking was $24/day.

Very nice inside, spacious room, nice view.
We weren't aware that there was a $24.00 charge per day for parking.

Overall we were satisfied with this hotel, but we weren't happy when we got to the hotel and there was a $24.00 per day parking fee.

The only pool in the hotel is a waterpark which was
not complimentary.

This is an excellent business hotel. There are three wonderful hotels onsite, and excellent concierge service. The room was a king room, and very small.
