Beautiful setting with great beach access and easy snorkeling and turtle viewings too.
The restaurant food was only mediocre for a nice resort.

We were very pleased with our 6-night stay at the Waikoloa Marriott Beach Resort. The grounds are very beautiful and clean, with a stunning view of the ocean and an amazing sunset every day. The 3 pools were a bit cooler than we'd liked, but great for both adults and children. The towel surface and the beach water-sport both were very convenient and well used. It was great that we were provided with a microwave in the room upon request for no extra charge. It made heating up left overs and foods for the kids so much more convenient. read more

Beautiful setting, and easy beach access.
Dirty patio, and dirty bed linen on check in.

Lovely hotel with leisurely atmosphere. A number of pools and ocean access providing variety to guests. Staff was welcoming and efficient at addressing concerns.

The swimming pools are open 24/7.
It's kind of isolated so there isn't much nightlife. We drove into Kona.

This hotel was very welcoming, relaxed and cozy. Nice rooms. 3 Pools, open 24 hrs. a day. Beautiful beach. No nightlife.

The rooms were umber-modern, clean, and well-maintained. I want my bedroom to look like this!
The distance to Kona was an issue, but was evened out by how nice the hotel was.

This hotel was amazing. The pools were fantastic and open 24 hours, the hot tubs were clean, the beach was right there with free snorkel gear, and the rooms were how I'd like my room at home to look! Modern, clean lines, fantastic. Our room did not have a bathtub but I never missed it. Hot tub to shower is fine with me. Our first evening we couldn't get the internet to connect and within 5 minutes there was an IT helper at my door to help. Amazing. 5 minutes after he left, the front desk called to be sure my IT issues had been taken care of. Although it was a bit of a drive to get to Kona each day for surfing and yoga, I think it was well-worth it to not stay in the crowded resort feel of Kona. read more
