Huge room - great view of the Bay.
The train coming along every hour (very loud).

The hotel had a great view of the bay, a little more expensive, but worth it. No one mentioned that a train (Amtrak) comes once an hour and is very loud (bring earplugs to sleep). My room was right above the bar which had live music (again, bring earplugs). Bed was comfortable and the room was huge.

Excellent location, very well maintained. Everything worked, and the restaurant was excellent.
A little tough to locate, being on an exit off the interstate Spaghetti Bowl.

A real pleasant surprise. The marina view is very nice. I would have liked to have been there in better weather.

Hotel was a little dated inside. Felt and smelled like it needed to be updated.
Even after them knowing I paid in full for the room. They charged me for a full day.

Hotel is in a very good location in Jack London Square of Oakland, CA. However the decor and smell of the room felt straight from the 1980s. It is in desperate need of a refurbishing. The staff was attentive and on their job. But the room was such a disappointment that I will not be going back.

Loved the water view and location on Jack London Square.
The room's AC unit was incredibly loud and the room bothered my allergies.

My wife and I stayed here while looking for a plave to live in the East Bay. The hotel was easy to get to from all parts of the East Bay and located close to a wide variety of restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the view from our room overlooking the marina and restaurant boards-walks.

I loved the setting of being on the waterfront seeing the sunset and morning on the water.

The staff is excellent! The hotel property is older but well maintained. This property with a harbor side view is hard to beat. If your coming to a show at Yoshi's from out-of-town or just don't want to drive home after a show! Literally a 2 min. walk to Yoshi's in a completely safe neighborhood. Have Fun!

Incredibly comfortable bed, interesting room with gas fireplace.
Key card didn't work (late at night), no check-in parking.

Very comfortable hotel right on the water at Jack London Square.

Too close to train rails and crossing, noise. Poor sound insulation between rooms.
