Bath Hotels like Wentworth House with car park, swimming pool & hot tub are hard to find so close to the city centre. The hotel is set in a peaceful location but just 15 minutes walk from the city centre. Wentworth House Hotel is an imposing Victorian mansion built in 1887 for a wealthy merchant and his family. The house enjoys a peaceful location overlooking the beautiful city of Bath. Although just 15 minutes stroll from the city centre, it is a haven from the hustle and bustle. Set in almost an acre of grounds, guests can relax and take a quiet drink on one of the garden terraces or a refreshing swim in our heated outdoor pool. The latest addition to our facilities is a garden hot tub available to guests (at an extra charge) where guests can relax and enjoy the views across the valley all year round. read more

It was clean and friendly.
The soap in the bathroom smelled like roast beef.

It was about 15 minutes walk from town, which was fine for myself and my husband, but not okay if you are elderly. The room was quaint, and the curry was delicious! The owner and staff were very kind.
