Close to locations I needed to go to.
Cramped, in bad area, dirty.

I would not recommend extended stays at this hotel. You give up security and cleanliness for shorter rides in a car.

Was in central W. Hartford, close to gas station.
It smelled really bad, no refrigerator.

It was OK for 3 nights. I didn't know that any hotels still did not have refrigerators. I am a woman traveling alone and the parking in the building felt safe at night, but there are not enough parking places there and the extra lot felt really unsafe, dark and unmonitored.

Small, dingy lobby.

This is the only game in town - there are no other hotels in West Hartford. West Hartford Center is delightful with great restaurants and fun shops, all within walking distance. If you are only looking for a place to sleep, then it will do. Rooms are small but adequate, bathrooms are very small and old - light bulbs were missing and tile needed re grouting.
