"One of the few luxury hotels in Charlotte", this "architectural work of art" boasts an "awesome" staff, "spacious rooms" and a location just "a few blocks from all the business activity" and "across the street from the convention center"; those with early-morning meetings warn of "beds so comfortable you won't want to get up", but go elsewhere for dinner, since the food doesn't find many fans.

Service staff was friendly and polite.
Did not meet 4 star expectations.

Concierge desk was always unattended. Staff was conscience of the basics of meeting expectations, but did not notice an effort to exceed them.

Very unhappy with quality of room, noise level in room from noise in hallway, lack of towels, soap, issues with TV, etc. Have stayed in other Westin's, and very surprised at how this hotel was so different. I would not recommend this hotel!

Very modern amenities and comfortable bedding.
Minor areas in the room needed dusting and cleaning.

This is a very modern and upscaled hotel in a great spot for visiting Charlotte. The $18 per night parking fee is a bit much. After we had our coffee, we noticed the coffee pot tray was very dusty and dirty. When we got back home, we had a $94 charge on our credit card. Hotel charged for mini-bar items. We didn't even receive a key for the mini-bar. Hotel did reverse charge with no problem which was a relief. Overall, this was a great hotel and we got it for a great price with Priceline. I will use Priceline again in the future. read more
