It smelt and there was no water fountain/cooler for guests to use.
The hotel has a stale smell about it which is not too inviting. Some staff members were friendly while others made you feel uncomfortable for asking questions. The location is great, close to the train, st, etc. This is a great hotel if all you are looking for is a place to rest your head after a long day of sight seeing and a longer night of drinking and dancing!

There was a refrigerator in my room.
The air conditioner did not work well.
The rooms were small and the amenities were non-existent (no hairdryer, shampoo, etc.). I didn't even have a bathtub, just a shower stall. I would only stay there again if there was nothing else in my price range. It's not even close enough to the metro to make it convenient.

Very friendly, staff was very accommodating, loved the old historic brownstone and tree-lined park like area - quiet! Close!
Elevator was very small and slow - nothing else to complain about.
We loved the quiet, clean and tree-lined neighborhood of the Windsor Park after having to stay in a big, shiny business district hotel for 2 nights. It made our DC stay much more home-like and relaxed, we'll definitely go back and recommend it to our friends.
