Concierge was helpful and enthusiastic. Good water pressure and heat for showers.
Not very aesthetically pleasing - room had little to no view outdoors. Lobby was not welcoming.
Functionally, this hotel is adequate. If you're a business traveler, it should have all you need regarding sleep, shower, food and location to downtown. If you need a weekend retreat to recover from the day-to-day stress and be refreshed, inspired, etc. I'd look elsewhere.

Ok hotel, really nothing out of the ordinary at all. Was given a smoking room, when was not requested and they couldn't change it. But it didn't smell of smoke so that was fine. However, I think everytime I use priceline and get a good deal, the hotel then gives you the loud room right by the elevator!

Door man was wonderful.
Extras, we had to pay for and were not anticipating.
The hotel and staff were wonderful. Could have had a larger pool. We had to pay additional $30 because had us down for king room only. Also had to pay additional $50 to park. Thought was in room price.

The location was very convenient to shopping ,restaurant and the lake Michigan.
Room was not what we expected. It over looked the top of the roof with mechanicals and looked directly into another building.

The staff was great at answering my questions, giving directions and suggestions. Hotel rooms were away from any lobby area so it was quiet.
You can hear the ambulances when they go in or as as you are right next to a Hosp. However that could come in handy. We were on the 10th floor.
The Hotel staff was GREAT and very helpful from checking in and out, to the men who took care of luggage. Gave good directions and suggestions for places to eat or how far it was to walk somewhere. If you don't want to eat at the Hotel there are plenty of places only a few blocks away. Not far from Randolf Street Train Station if you come in by train. The sirens from the ambulances were a little bit of a bother but they didn't last long. We stayed only one night and heard only 2 ambulances. Wish we would have had more time to check out the Pool and Exercise room. The in room coffee was really good. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. read more

Amazing location, spacious & very clean room, convenience!
I have never stayed in this area of Chicago before, and we do visit Chicago often. We were in town for a concert at Wrigley field, and had wanted to stay close enough to get to the concert quickly via the train system, and this locations was absolutely perfect! Great area, great shopping, and easy access to where the concert was. I would definitely stay in this area of Chicago again. We mainly try and stay in the loop area, and have never been this far out before. read more
