Description of Wyndham Palm Springs
The Property is currently undergoing renovations.Hotel will be open and operating through the entire process!The Wyndham Palm Springs will be under renovation from May 1 - Dec 30, 2009. December through January the pool will be temporaily closed.Sleeping rooms will be removed for renovation and brought back on line in phases - approximately 90 rooms at a time. Noisy times will be between 10 AM and 4 PM, 6-7 days per week. We expect no disruption during the evenings. Rooms will be blocked in sections so that there will be very limited aesthetic issues on the guest floors. The Lobby will be out of service from Sept 1 - November 30. During this period, we will be utilizing renovated meeting space for our check-in and meal areas. Wyndham Palm Springs, nestled in a glamorous desert community, offers an idyllic getaway for business or pleasure. $10.00 resort fee. No towels at the pool. Took 40 minutes to get a towel.

On previous stays this hotel was excellent. It's not anymore. Dirty, worn out hotel with rude staff.

3 star was an accurate rating, very nice, relaxing hotel, great view from all rooms and pool area.

The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.
The room decor was old and the bed was hard.

The public spaces were beautiful. The rooms were old and dark. The decor was terrible. The bed was hard, the pillows needed to be replaced. And the sheets were not good quality. The walls were thin and you could hear everything in the next room.

The lobby of the Wyndham was lovely the rooms are in need of a face lift.

They gave us the worst room in the hotel.

They also saw that I was staying with my 20 year old son but would not give us a room with two double beds, we had only a king size - even though the hotel was mostly empty. No refrigerator in the room, had to pay for WiFi - Everything in this hotel is an extra, and this while its going through a major renovation. It is, however, a beautiful property located close to downtown Palm Springs - within walking distance of the shopping and eateries. The staff was polite. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. Cheap TV's - In a hotel like this they should be wide screen flat panel. read more

Parking in town was not easy to find.

Great location. Beautiful grounds and lobby. Nice room, very clean.
