Lovely exterior and grounds.
Slightly down-at-the-heel.

Comfortable. The interior did not live up to the exterior, but was still nice.

It was OK.
Difficult to get around.

I had no idea the hotel had three different buildings. Once I got there, each of the buildings had its own name, no sign where the front desk was. It was dark, rainy, very cold and I had to drive around hoping to find directions. Finally, I saw somebody in the parking lot and that person directed me to the Jefferson building. Staff was very nice but could not help with anything. And to top it off, she told me that, because of the rain, there was no internet! read more

We really enjoyed the picturesque setting.

This hotel offered a lot of southern charm. It was very close to shopping and dining, but gave the feel of being secluded in a country hillside. Very nice accommodations, cannot speak for the restaurants but there were two weddings taking place during our stay. Staff was very friendly.

The beds and linens were very comfortable
a little out of the way and very dark at night

Southern charm of buildings.
Bathtub drain problem.

Hard to find but great once you find it! The charm is that it is unlike the typical big box hotels and is located next to a golf course. The rooms are clean and attractive with a flat screen TV, complimentary coffee/tea, and a quiet environment.
