"The art deco decor is divine" at this "gorgeous" landmark "Oakland showplace" that has "all the charm of a theater from the 1930s", where live music and dance mix it up with the occasional "retro black-and-white movie" – when "the organ plays before and during the break" – and a bar "offers the basics"; N.B. it's home to the Oakland East Bay Symphony.
