This "Carmel treasure", known for its "tiny wine bar" and adjacent wine shop, is even "better" since the "new open kitchen" recently adopted a "more casual Californian-French bistro" menu laced with Monterey County provisions; the user-"friendly" vino prices and "polished atmosphere" remain, and, although reports on the staff are mixed, "service from [owner] David Fink himself is always a plus."
