Hotel Guest Reviews of the Days Inn Memphis - I 40 And Sycamore View

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. As cost effective as you can get.
Only had double full beds not double queens available. Bottom of shower curtain was not clean, cigarette burns in the sheets/comforter only visible from tearing down the bed. Only 3 towels for a 4 person room.

About a 10 minute drive to anywhere of importance. Closer to 15 minutes to Beale St. The surrounding area has got a lot of other hotels and gas stations.

There was a 6 inch crack in bottom of door,
you could see outside, food was cold, but free food so cant gripe about cost of it.

We all got sick after staying there, well still sick been sick for 4 days now, runny nose and coughing.

The inside was much cleaner looking than the outside.
From the outside, this looked like less than a 1-star hotel but our room was very clean and comfortable.

Staff was very friendly room was clean.
Nothing

Great staff super friendly the room was clean and the area is not bad. Decent food options laundry etc. Its a good value for the money. They also have direct TV which I've never seen. Big police presence in this city if you ever need them.

The bed was very comfortable and the air worked great.
The were fruit nets and bugs in the room. The refrigerator was not clean and wasn't cold.

I would not stay at this hotel again.

Close to the interstate. Good price.
Old, some parts were in poor repair. Not in a very good neighborhood.

Rooms opened onto the outside into a rough appearing neighborhood. Room furnishings appeared old. Carpet threads visible near bathroom entrance. Paint splotches on sink counter.

Leaving it
Multiple cockroaches crawling around in my bathroom every time I walked in there.

This is a roach infested dump and I'm not kidding or exaggerating. I saw at least 5 or 6 roaches while I was in there. All I could do was kill them with my shoes. I asked the hotel to let me out of the reservation so I could get into a different hotel and they wouldn't.

Quiet.
Small, tight parking.

Clean and friendly, close to restaurants and entertainment. Very quiet setting considering how close it is to the Interstate.
