Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Westin Buckhead Atlanta
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.June 13, 2013

Very clean in public spaces. Room was also very clean. The bathrooms are a tad bit outdated, but like I said, very clean regardless. Parking is somewhat confusing with the in and out feature, but nothing too bad. Hotel car service was nice and quick to pick us up. I was able to get a taxi from the bellhop very quick. Spent some time at the bar to watch a game and the bar staff was really great. Sometimes hotel bar staffs can be *meh* but these guys and gals knew just the amount of interaction necessary. Nothing worse than an overbearing super talkative bar tender. ...

Overall, I expected more from this hotel. The staff was not friendly and gave me limited information about the hotel (ie. no check-out time, and there was no guide in the room). The carpet in the room needed vacuuming and the towels were dirty. To top it off, housekeeping kept disturbing me about cleaning the room on the morning of checkout WAY before checkout time (which I later discovered), after I had requested twice for them to come back much later. I was not pleased with this hotel and will not stay there again. ...

If you plan to drive around Atl while staying at this place, I would look for another place. It's $20 per day to park and gridlock getting in and out. ALSO you have to take 2 different elevators to get to your room, very inconvenient.

Book with an understanding that service may be hit or miss. My first two days were good but the last two days were well below what you expect for a four star hotel. Flat out horrible. The staff reacts only if you go to management which it should never have to come to that point. Save money by self-parking @ $20 a day, although still pricey. Location is walking distance to Lenox mall a definite shopper lover's dream. ...
