Hotel Guest Reviews of the Travelodge By The Space Needle

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Paid $15 dollars to park each night. That is ridiculous.

Location great, comfy bed and soft bedding.
Tired decor, dirty carpet, crap toiletries, expensive parking, and bad breakfast.

If you just need a crash pad that is well located in the city this is not bad. I expected more from the Travelodge but found its decor to be tired (except the bedding and bed which were great). Don't bother with the breakfast, it's awful. Our room was very noisy, we could hear everything happening outside because the windows are old and don't block out noise. Also we could hear the people in the room above us. We complained to the desk but they didn't do anything and didn't follow up with us. Parking is expensive and we ended up with over $45 per night in taxes we weren't expecting.

The staff was helpful and courteous. The location was perfect for the Seattle Tourist!
The pool was not heated during our visit.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was most helpful with directions and any other needs we had. The breakfast offered was perfect for all ages we had with us - from adults to teens and little ones. The rooms were just right for our family.

It was conveniently located for sight seeing.

Hotel itself was very good in the star rating. The area seemed a little unsafe but close to the attractions we wanted.

The location.
The room was not very nice.

The hotel is very basic. The door for the room didn't close properly. The breakfast was good, but very basic.

Location was convenient. Close to north Seattle and downtown.
Walls are too thin. Can hear everything.

This hotel is in a very convenient location, a couple blocks from downtown Seattle. It's a good place for business travel or leisure travel if you don't plan on spending much time in the hotel itself. It served its purpose for me, a place to leave my car, bags, shower and sleep. The only downside is the walls are very thing. I could hear all noises and voices from the rooms to the left and right, above and below. Very difficult to sleep at night. ...read more

Coffee available 24 hours in lobby.
Breakfast ends too early.

The hotel is pretty clean but clearly a little old. The staff is efficient and mostly pleasant when approached (no one was rude), but I got the impression that they were slightly understaffed - no one seemed to have much time for greetings or pleasantries. If you are looking for a very, very quiet place, this might not be the best choice. Families with kids looking for a deal are in abundance here, and the doors slam loud and the walls are pretty thin. Also, if you keep odd hours, there are no room-darkening curtains, at least there were not in our room. There is a good selection of food that can be delivered to the room, a well equipped bathroom (with hair dryer), and coffee maker (ours was broken, but since there is coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day, it never really mattered). We are not the earliest risers, so I wish that breakfast went a little later than 9:30 - we were not normally able to take advantage of it. ...read more

That I could leave the next day.
Dirty, smelled strange, noisy, run down, scary parking location, very small room and bathroom, and no hot water!

I would never go back to this hotel, it was extremely run down. The carpet was old and stained, the walls had holes in them, the room and bathroom was much smaller than the picture made them look, the windows were very thin and it stayed cold in the room and you had to keep the heat on all night which was also very noisy. The parking was scary-you had to park in the back alley and they pay 15$ for it! I was afraid all night someone was going to break into my rental car, the walls and windows were very thin so you could hear entire conversations going on outside, The bathroom was so small you had no place to put your bathroom items. There was no hot water in the shower although the faucet had scalding hot water. It was overall a poor experience and I will never go back to the travelogue again. ...read more
