Hotel Guest Reviews of the Travelodge New Orleans West Harvey Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.March 21, 2013

Hotel was great and friendly persons working there. Pool was closed but Guard on duty allowed us to use the pool for a short period of time as long as we did not get loud and wild. Only used the pool for about 20 minutes and was very thankful for it.

My husband and
I had a great stay. The front desk was very nice and knowledgeable. Whatever we needed or needed to know they were able to assist us with.

Your basic motel with a good bed and a shower. Coffee was good, had a refrig and microwave, was clean and the staff were friendly. Not in a good location and terrible public transportation possibilities.

We stayed in this hotel for a total of 6 nights. The first 3 nights wasn't a problem then we extended for two nights and we HAD to change room. It was very inconvenient. Three fourths of the hotel rooms weren't even booked yet we were asked to pack our things and be transferred to another room. The front desk said our new room is going to be ready by noon. We went down with our things and she said it wasn't ready yet. We lost half a day waiting for a new room. We had to leave our bags and checked in again the night we came back from downtown. There isn't anything on the breakfast counter but cereals and a fifth of a gallon of milk. We just had coffee for 6 days. It didn't matter if you go there early or not. They just don't place enough food. On our last night of stay, we came back and saw that our room wasn't cleaned. Trash is still there, bed is not made, there are no clean towels. When we informed the front desk, she said that the housekeeping thought we are going to check out so they didn't clean our room. We had to go go back to the lobby and get towels for ourselves. This is a badly managed hotel and a waste of money. We could have gotten the same price for a 3 star hotel in downtown via priceline but we thought it would be more convenient if we didn't have to pack our bags and re-check in but they just are a pure disappointment. ...

It was horrible, but you get what you pay for. The first room the AC did not work and we were moved to a different room. The other room I reserved had 2 extra guests (roaches) and the king size bed was not on a box spring - it was on a wood platform. There were old mattresses up against the wall outside the door. The doors and outside needs a good cleaning and paint job. The AC's leaked water on the to hallways. You could see through the cracks of the inside AC and see the light outside. Also, you could see outside light from the cracks around the door. ...
