Hotel Guest Reviews of the Travelodge Chicago O'hare Airport - Melrose Park

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Clean and adequate for the money.
Hallway smelled badly of smoke but the non smoking room didn't once you got inside.

Good for the price. Not very well maintained but clean in the room.

Proximity to downtown with car.

I didn't want to use the shower. There were holes in the bed coverings. My door card was constantly not working, and neither was the lock on the back entry doorway. There were light bulbs out in the bedside lights, but after seeing some of the staff, I didn't want to invite any more of them into my room than necessary. There also wasn't a Privacy Please card for the door so I couldn't keep housekeeping out of my room. ...read more

I didn't like anything.
It was a one night stand, fighting in the halls, and drunks, I did not feel safe.

My family was disappointed in this hotel, the boys were scared . Windows broken, in some rooms.

It was quiet.
Smelled like carpet fresh exterior looked very rundown.

When I rolled up on hotel the curtains were torn and there was only one car parked by the dumpster. I almost left to find a nicer hotel. I gave them a chance. To my surprise the bed was comfortable and it was a quiet hotel. The room did not smell like smoke. I was economy hotel that's what I paid for that's what I got.

Had breakfast and room clean.
Felt unsafe, old building that had inoperable elevator; held band event until 1:00 am

Under remodeling; fitness room unavailable; elevator not working; outside building doors did not lock - anyone could enter building; felt that hotel was more of a local event center; at intersection of 2 freeways; parking limited; room was clean.

The location, the not so clean and the huge walk hallway between rooms.

I would not like to stay at that hotel again.

There was nothing i liked about this hotel it was awful
Worst hotel i've ever stayed in

Where to begin, they over booked for the weekend and them made us wait 4 hours to check in. Room was smoke free but the hallway smelled like someone was smoking right outside my door, beds were hard, bathroom wasn't cleaned (mold in shower), towels had stains all over them, and the people behind the desk were no help at all (you could stand infront of the person behind the desk for 5 minutes and they won't even acknowledge you). I fell in the shower and hurt myself pretty bad cause the showers were horrible. ...read more

There is nothing to like about the hotel.
Filthy and dirty.

Will recommend to take off priceline list. Not a safe place to stay. The hotel staff makes copies of your credit card. One bathroom was plugged and not working. Disgusting place.
