Hotel Guest Reviews of the Travelodge Sacramento/Rancho Cordova

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

I liked that it was very affordable. The water pressure and temperature was great.
There were mysterious stains on the sheets and carpet and it looked like it was falling apart. Also, there were no labels on the A/C, so we had to figure it out ourselves. The Wifi signal was too weak to actually use.

This hotel seems like a flop-house. The people next door had been there forever and scantily clad ladies kept arriving at all times of the day and night. It was very affordable, but you get what you pay for. There were mysterious stains on the floor and sheets and we didn't get enough towels the second day. Great microwave and refrigerator. No kleenex in the dispenser and the Wifi is too weak to use. ...read more

Cleaning people were great! Owner at the desk was snootty and did not want to be there. She is running a residential hotel for the poor. As a biz traveler I was treated fine. But the poor that she serves she seemed very snooty.

The bed was comfortable, there's a lovely diner across the street, a few other places to eat and the freeway were all right there. Staff was nice and helpful.
Felt like there were permanent residents, some of which made me uncomfortable. They could be very loud at times, and rude. The drink vending machine on my floor was smashed up and not working.

If you need a place to stay on the cheap, this place has you covered. Just remember you're looking for cheap. It's not a five star hotel but that's the point. It made my 10 days in Sacramento affordable. I made last minute travel plans and I wouldn't have been out here at all if I couldn't find a cheap place to stay. I read a few scary bad reviews before I booked travelodge, but my stay hasn't been bad at all. I think the people who complain about rude staff are probably rude to the staff, and for the price, the room was nice. I always had clean towels after housekeeping visited. Over all, I had an amazing time in California, and I thank Travelodge for offering an affordable place to stay while I was here. ...read more

about the only thing about this hotel i liked was leaving.
everything, i would not recommend this hotel if you wish to be close to downtown sacramento, cannot use the microwave without turning on lights, some rooms missing items, you will not get towels, and some rooms smell like urine, plus there are hookers too.

if you want a good breakfast, eat out because their idea of breakfast is a joke.if you get a bad room, make sure you get a different one, and keep trying until you get one you think is appropriate. there are several restaurants within driving distance, for walking distance their are a couple, one a fast food, and Perko's is across the street, as well as a Chinese food restaurant across the main drag which you will need to drive too.. a mile or so down the road is a shopping center for other needs. downtown Sacramento, and the main part of Sacramento is about 20 miles away. major cons about the hotel are everything, down to getting the code for so called free internet, which you are only allowed 1 per room, and you can only use it on 1 device. That is all i have to say about this hotel. bottom lining it, just forget about this hotel and move on to something more habitable. ...read more

It was awful I will never return.
Just the hookers and drug activity.

If you want to save money whatever it was nasty.

Nothing
In the whole room only one light worked. The light in the bathroom was broken.

Stay at your own risk.
