Hotel Guest Reviews of the Travelodge San Antonio-Alamo/Riverwalk/Conv. Ctr

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The location was excellent.
Our room was not very clean, a couple towels were stained and the safe was broken.

This motel is a great location to walk to the Riverwalk but that is about it. Don't think you're getting a nice room for the price cause you're not, just a great location.

Walking distance from downtown and the river walk
internet was slow, the maintenance does not knock and just opens the door whenever they want (several hours before check out) which scared me several times. in a bad part of town. Probably a big place where drug dealers and prostitutes meet.

we did not like anything abt this hotel . . location was bad and it was very scary to walk back alone after 8 from main street to this hotel . rooms were not clean , there was no water fountain . water coolers were dirty and so the breakfast was bad too.

The location was walking distance from all the attractions in Downtown and there was easy freeway access. Staff was friendly.
The rooms were outdated, even though they did update the showers recently, it still needs some help.

Free continental breakfast with make your own waffles was nice. Free parking was a plus.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is within a few blocks of the Alamo and Riverwalk, and on a major road with city buses, if needed.
The shower/bathtub drained very slowly. Priceline advertised this hotel as three stars, but I would rate it 1.5 or 2 stars only.

Pros: very friendly and helpful staff, within a few blocks of Riverwalk, breakfast is included. Cons: bathtub didn't drain, I wouldn't walk the streets after dark (we didn't have any problems, but the area seemed questionable) We were disappointed with priceline's three star rating. My wife did not feel safe at this location.

Walking distance of downtown
Poor in appearance, need better upkeep, cigarette butts all over the area upon entering room I was suppose to stay. Elevator unclean. My wife refused to stay and sleep in room stating appearance didn't look clean and healthy..

No problem with personnel ,just was not clean enough somewhat old and need renovations, clean up walking area. positive, close to mall, riverwalk, theaters downtown...Need refreshing appeal.
