Hotel Guest Reviews of the Tropicana Motel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 29, 2013

This is a motel with motel prices. You get what you pay for; a clean place to lodge overnight. I'm not disappointed because I didn't expect a 4 or 5 star experience for the price. However, the pictures make the motel appear much larger than it really is. It is not on the beach but within 3 miles of the beach. Be prepared to use your car to locate restaurants.

This hotel was a great value for the price. Not only that, it has a cozy and cool kind of retro feeling to it thanks to the furnishings and decor. You can tell that the property is well managed and cared for by how clean and pest free the rooms are. In is right on busy Federal highway so the traffic noise is loud but you can't hear it if you have the air conditioning on. The location is great because it is within walking distance of Las Olas Blvd. and there are some great restaurants on the same black including a Mexican/Spanish mom and pops restaurant and a Winn Dixie across the street. Also the gentleman who handled my check-in and check-out process was the icing on the cake when he actually asked me upon check-out, "How was everything?" I did not exaggerate when I answered back, "Perfect." It is the perfect accommodation for a relaxing and hassle free stay in Fort Lauderdale. ...

it's an older motel, but it's very much a motel. the bedding was nice and new and the whole place had a 'staying at a relative's house' feel to it. i was rarely in the room, but when i was it was enjoyable. quiet and peaceful for the most part.
