This hotel was a value for our trip to Barcelona... We had a car, which allowed us to easily visit Dali stuff in Cadaques and Portlligat.

Very modern and spartan in decor, huge cool lobby. Great shuttle service to and from airport... Terminal 3 past parking lot G.

Hotel runs regular shuttles to and from airport. Close to bus line for down-town-good breakfast (10 euro additional/person) - Excellent value for price

Not a single thing!
Everything! I am a frequent Priceline traveler, I now will hesitate using your website in the future. This hotel is NOT a 4 star hotel. It is 2 star at best. More information below, but I was charged when I made the reservation and double charged after.

This hotel was horrible! It is NOT a 4-star hotel, it is 2-star at best. The address does not work on any GPS unit, they admitted that from the start. Upon check-in I was told that the receipt for paid in full by Priceline was not valid, they took my card number and told me that I would have to fight it with Priceline. Charged twice! We would have left but literally had 6 hours before our flight home to the US. The room was pathetic, bare bones... 2 flimsy pillows and a paper thin blanket. Soap dispensers on the wall over the sink and in the shower to use for shampoo. It was like sleeping in a dorm room, music was blaring in the lobby, which followed us up to our room at midnight! A/C did not work and technician came up and couldn't fix it. They told us that if we parked in front of the hotel, we may get broken into. I can't even tell you how disappointed I am in Priceline for using this hotel in their search engine. We travelled Europe for 2 weeks using Priceline for each night and this last night was bad enough to probably never let us try them again. ...read more

The free shuttle to and from the airport.
The restaurant lacked atmosphere. There was nothing warm about the space including the staff. The dining experience was one of the worst I have ever had away from home.

The check-in staff did not provide us with a warm welcome. Children are advertised as free provided that they are under 12 years yet we were charged 39 Euros for a bed for our daughter. We were not told about the shuttle service into Madrid to the "Las Ramblas" area but found out about it from the literature inside the room. The bar staff was not able to make me a cocktail (mojito) because his partner was not there.I had bottled water instead until she arrived a half hour later. Even though I made a reservation for the morning airport shuttle with the night staff, no reservation could be found but room was found for us anyhow. The hotel restaurant was a big bare room with a divider and tables. It had absolutely no atmosphere and the staff didn't seem to have any logical way of serving people or communicating. The whole experience was impersonal and one I wish I would have not had. Worst airport hotel service that I have ever received anywhere and my first time trying the Tryp hotel chain. Shuttle was a great asset. The price of a taxi costs 27 Euro for a ten minute ride from the airport. Shuttle provided a great alternative. Staff was helpful and the room was very nice. Just what we needed for a night's sleep before flying out.

Taxi's are outrageous. Take advanatage of the hotel shuttle.

It was very helpful that the hotel had an airport shuttle
They say check in is at 12 p.m and then don't have rooms when you arrive. Their rooms are not checked to see that everything works properly.

Convenient location from Airport.
Everything in the room was cheap. I felt like I was in the cheapest IKEA bedroom set-up.

Not very nice place for being a top of the line hotel. The room felt very very cheap. The floors seemed warped and improperly installed and the bed felt like the cheapest IKEA option. Just not what I was expecting.

I liked that this hotel was basically very clean, and there was a free shuttle to the airport.
The first receptionist had a bad attitude. She said that we had to have the buffet the next morning. We did not want it, but was charged extra.

The receptionist saw that there was two of us, and said that she was going to give us a room with two single beds. When I objected, she said that I would have to wait for a room, which I told her I was ready to do so. I told her that it was our anniversary and I would like to be assigned a nice room, if possible. Sure enough, when we finally got our room later in the afternoon, we were given a handicap room which was ok, but my husband and I are not handicap in any way. The shower leaked water all over the bathroom, and we had to use towels to mop it up. The room was decorated by Ikea, and the mattress was not hard, but it was far from soft. Clean, but no frills.
