Modeled after the California Mission-style hotel from The Eagles' song "Hotel California," the seven-story Hard Rock has 640 spacious rooms featuring Art Deco style and music-themed art. Deluxe on-site guests can skip the lines at Universal Studios and Universal's Islands of Adventure, hop aboard free water taxis connecting the property and the Universal parks, gain entrance one-hour early at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and get priority reservations at select resort restaurants. In-room amenities include flat-panel LCD TVs and iHome clock radios/iPod docks, Wi-Fi (for an additional fee in rooms, free in lobby), Sealy Posturepedic pillowtop mattresses, 300-thread-count Egyptian cotton linens and down duvets. There is a $25 extra charge per adult for triple and quad occupancy, and pet-friendly rooms are available. The hotel features more than $1 million in rock memorabilia from the likes of Elvis Presley, Madonna and other greats. On-site recreation includes a 12,000-square-foot zero-entry tropical pool, a sand beach, thrilling 260-foot slide, two hot tubs, a fountain play area for children and a sand volleyball court. There is also a butterfly garden, video arcade, several restaurants and a rock-themed bar on-site. A fitness center and parking are available for an additional fee.

The Hard Rock Hotel® is within Universal Orlando, near Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. Wet 'n Wild is 10 minutes from the property, and SeaWorld is 17 minutes away. Orlando International Airport is 12 miles from the hotel.
