I really liked the hotel. Easy to find, friendly staff, and clean big rooms. I don't care for how on weekends, hotels don't have breakfast early in the morning. Not all travelers are at the hotel for "vacation", and would like to eat breakfast before they "hit the road" early in the morning. Plus we pay a little extra for that, and then have to swing into McDonald's on the way out of town. ...

Staff was very friendly. They stored our bicycles for us in a storage area. They made an excellent restaurant recomendation.

Family Traveling with Teens
After bringing to the staffs attention that there was a dirty syringe under our mattress they gave us a new room but there was never an apology offered by any staff members, nor was there any compensation given. This incident was completely unacceptable and had proper housekeeping been done it should not have even been possible. Dirty socks under beds is poor management!!!! Dirty syringes are dangerous, a health hazard. ...

Very nice staff. The room was very comfortable with fridge and microwave, but it wasn't as clean as it should have been (sink area hadn't been carefully wiped down). Toiletries in room were really nice quality and there was even makeup remover towelettes. Basic no-frills breakfast items.

We always enjoy our stay at the Vagabond. Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms that are also pet friendly, since we usually travel with our dog.
The fact, they provide a DVD player in every room is a very nice touch.
