Hotel Guest Reviews of the Varsity Clubs Of America - Tucson
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 8, 2013

Conveniently located only a few miles from U of A. Everything was clean and kitchen was fully stocked with frig, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, and seating for four at a peninsula. Four could easily stay in this 1 BR, although the "mattress" on the pull-out couch was flimsy. Nice pool.

BEAR IN MIND THAT HOTEL WILL REQUEST YOU A DEPOSIT FOR ABOUT USD 100 AND WILL RETURN IT WHEN YOU LEAVE. MY BAD EXPERIENCE HERE WAS THAT UPON ARRIVAL, THEY DID NOT HAVE MY PRICELINE RESERVATION CONFIRMED. THANK GOD I PRINTED MY CONFIRMATION AND THEY THEY SCANNED TO PRICELINE, WHILE THE NICE STAFF THERE ALLOWED ME AND MY WIFE TO USE OUR ROOM. THIS IS NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE, 1ST TIME THAT HAPPENED TO ME, SINCE I'M A REGULAR PRICELINE CLIENT. I THINK I NEED TO CALL AND CHECK IF MY RESERVATION IS THERE NEXT TIME I PROCESS A RESERVATION THROUGH PRICELINE, I WILL, BUT I DON'T FEEL CONFIDENT THAT MY RESERVATIONS ARRIVE TO MY HOTEL. REGARDS ...

Good central location. Felt like a secure area. Very nice courtyard and heated swimming pool. The option to run a/c fan continuously helps to drown out street noise. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

I agree with some of the other reviews, one of the nicest places we've stayed for the price and star rating.

Very centrally located, a real feeling of safety with security patrolling the outer perimeters. The whole feel is warm and friendly.

The hotel simply needs to make some investment. Cleaning the carpets would be a start. Upgrading the room furniture is next. Flat screen TVs are not expensive.
