Hotel Guest Reviews of the W Hotel Minneapolis The Foshay

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

We received a fabulous deal and the hotel generously met our needs when we had a challenge.

This is definitely a party hotel if that's what you're looking for. FYI!

Staff was impeccable, as you'd expect, room gorgeous, view spectacular.
A lot of late night noise in the halls, even on the 22nd floor. This is a BIG weekend party hotel, so it comes with the territory.

Absolutely no place to get a late night meal in this area on the weekends, so you have to depend on 24 hour room service, but room service menu is great and not outlandishly priced.

Almost no chance of getting a room with two queen beds.

Rooms are good, but not great. However it was priced nicely by Priceline since it is not worth with actual rate.
I charged for 2 bottles of water and Cashew, I always thought it was complimentary. $25 was charged towards this after I left the room.

Great place other than the room.
They gave me a room that looked into a retaining wall/loading area for the hotel and during the evening all you could smell in the rooms was the exhaust vents from Manny's next door. Unless they are completely full do not book 2nd floor rooms!

Knowledgeable and helpful staff
limited concierge hours (example - not in until noon on a Tuesday). had to fight for a 2 bed room. apparently, almost all rooms in hotel have just 1 king sized bed.

Very hip with a masculine feel. Only less than 5% of the rooms have 2 beds; the rest are all 1 king sized bed rooms. Not great if you're traveling with someone you don't want to share a bed with. the restaurant downstairs (the keys) was inexpensive and tasty. the hotel is convenient to downtown. had to pay valet parking but valets were very professional, quick, and helpful.

Beautiful neo-modern rooms in a historic landmark (Foshay Tower). Innovative decor complimenting the art deco preservation.

My wife and I plan to stay again for a weekend in Minneapolis. Convenient to all downtown attractions.

The decor is very modern and the ambience of the lounge was very interesting.
The bars were too popular that outsiders are welcome and these outsiders seem too inconsiderate with the noise they make that disturb hotel guests.

The location is okay and the hotel decor was very modern. Thank goodness for security (I think) that roam around the hotel to ensure that visitors of the "living room" do not disturb hotel guests.
