The courtyard was pretty. Other people had balconies or breakfast nooks., or a view.
My view was a brick wall. When we went to check in they told us they were completely booked.

Once they accepted my confirmation they gave us what looked like an hourly rental with plastic sheets so cleanup would be easier. I was very disappointed as my husband and I had one night in New Orleans while he was on leave from Afghanistan.

No A/C our first night, did not get moved

The hotel was going through MAJOR renovations. Our room did not have A/C our first night and they were not able to move us to another room that night and gave us a fan for the night. Nobody from the front office contacted us about our problems until the next day around 10 A.M. when they told us they would be moving us to another room but asked us if we could please hurry because they needed to get the room ready for the next person. I was given numerous recommendations, but the hotel did not live up to all the great reviews. ...read more
