Hotel Guest Reviews of the W San Diego
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 8, 2013

The hotel is very well situated for touring San Diego, near to the harbour, Gaslight District and many other things. Thank you, Priceline for helping us find this hotel!

Hotel had a great location with many amenities such as the Acura service which will drive you anywhere complimentary within 5 miles. Room was loud and we could hear the people next door. Staff was also unfriendly when called. I honestly would have expected a better stay given the star level. I would look at a comparable hotel not thus one I'm the future.

The one downside to our stay was that we bought a package off of Priceline that included 2 free drink vouchers to use at the hotel bar. We asked for them when checking in and the staff member just gave us 2 cards that were for B1G1 drinks. We had to complain to a manager before we were able to get our drinks. I would assume this was more Priceline's fault than the W's, though. The hotel is gorgeous and within walking distance of the Gaslamp District. ...

This hotel was awesome the decor was amazing with living room style setups throughout the hotel and the lobby bar looked like a nice place to enjoy a beverage. On the roof is another bar, great views of downtown a huge fire pit/ sculpture only drawback is the music but it was very comfortable with comfy leather couches. The room was also very nice and comfortable. Modern decor all white with one blue wall the bed was comfortable and the whole feel was very relaxing. ...
