Hotel Guest Reviews of the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 20, 2013

If a guest wants to avoid the street noise, choose an interior room. The staff was superb and the location is steps from the beach although you have to cross the busy street.

The towers that Priceline books are a ways away from the beach, most face toward the city. There are a lot of hidden "resort" fees that are not optional. In general, this is not a 4 star hotel.

The staff was soooo accomadating. Provided us with room upgrade, (Very Priceline Friendly) provided us with a late checkout 4PM. The room was great.

Overall I am not sure if I would pick this hotel again. The location was absolutely perfect. The public areas were great. The staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and considerate. The price was good. The room itself practically forced us to go out and do things as it was to small to spend any length of time in. The view from the balcony was sad. The room was clearly not inspected before we checked in as the balcony could not be opened without a call to maintenance, there were hairs all over the bathroom and the towels laid out for us. I spent over $50 in resort fees and did not need or use the amenities that the fee was supposed to cover. For four stars I was disappointed. ...

It's a decent hotel but definitely not 5-star quality..a 3 at best. And the price per night is excessive compared to what you get. I stayed for 7 days 6/nights. The pools on the upper deck were average, but again definitely not 5-star quality. Beware of the 25 dollar per day resort fee....it's a rip-off!! we were very disappointed that we had to leave the hotel for nightly entertainment, music, etc. It would have been nice to be able to relax in the lounge to some live music after a day in the sun. The fitness facility is well above average! The equipment is new, the fitness room is big, and there are plenty of exercise options in the room. Overall, our stay was very average. There are better options a few blocks down the street in the same price category. Outrigger wikiki, Ala Moana Surfrider, and Hyatt Regency are much better options. ...

Great location, nice modern rooms. Lobby wasn't all that impressive. Decent shopping and dining option on hotel grounds. Great access to the main drag on Waikiki.
