Location, friendly staff, and good breakfast.

No air-conditioning, and rooms rather plain.

This was a good, well run hotel. It was extremely conveniently located, both near the train station and for walking into downtown Zurich. Our only complaint would be that it didn't have air-conditioning and was rather plain. In other words, you paid a lot to get a rather ordinary experience. But compared to others in Zurich, which is very expensive, it was quite a good bargain.

While price was not a main consideration, access, I was impressed that the room charge was the same as 5 years ago.

The charge for breakfast in the light of what was on offer, seemed unduly high.

This was my third visit and I look forward to future visits and will continue to recommend the hotel to others.
