Hotel Guest Reviews of the Washington Court Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location to Union Station
Lackluster and non-helpful front desk staff. Unappealing restaurant. Not a 4 star experience!

If you're looking for a location near public transit but not expecting four star experience, then you won't be disappointed.

We were greeted at the front desk with warmth and professionalism and this remained true for the rest of our stay.

Actual price of room was more than advertised price online, valet staff were very unknowledgeable about parking.

The doorman helped me save the $48 valet parking charge by pointing out the on street parking right in front of the hotel which was free until 7:00 am. The room was top notch.

It was a great location, I was able to walk everywhere I wanted.
The view was terrible from our room.

It was very close to walking to everything.

I had one of the worst experience with this hotel. I went with my kids to check in at around 8 PM to this hotel. They did not honor the price line reservation and told no room available. The front desk guy was not polite.
THEY DID NOT HONOR PRICE LINE RESERVATION CONFIRMATION LETTER. Front desk guy was so rude and not decent enough to say sorry for keeping my room reservation.

I had the worst experience with this hotel. I went with my kids to check in at around 8 PM to this hotel. They did not honor the price line reservation and told that no room available. The front desk guy was not polite and did not say even sorry for not keeping my reserved room. He said he is not at fault since he did not do reservation. Price line did reservation. I paid through Price line. I will not go again to this hotel and will not recommend any one to this hotel. I will not use Priceline for making reservation in washington DC area hotels. I do not like to end up with this hotel reservation confirmation and have same kind of experience in future. After knowing my helpless situation, the guy told me he would put me in another hotel( he mentioned that hotel was also 4 star and he would pay for my hotel expenses and priceline will refund my reservation charges). That hold was horrible 2 star hotel. Price line should review the complaints they receive against this hotel and should take up hotel management strongly to avoid any such bad experience to their customers. ...read more

I thought hotel was good not great. I wish there was a way to pinpoint the location better for no bidding.
Location was a little farther from National Mall than I had hoped.

Hotel was good not great. Shower was large but had old fixtures and dark spots in grout and caulking. Room was good sized but had damage in the ceiling.

Location & excellent service by staff
Walls were thin & water pressure from shower very poor. However, faucet pressure fine for baths.

Located a couple blocks from the capitol end of the national mall, this location is great for business and visiting museums, catching trains at union station. Nearby bus routes are few and restaurants are higher end. Friendly and quick staff.
No heated jacuzzi, some rooms view the courtyard overlooking the lobby, not the outdoors.

Overall a great experience, but for trying out local eateries, try a hotel closer to DuPont circle. A short walk to the Capitol side of the National mall, once you visit the main Smithsonian museums, you'll be catching a cab any where else because there are not much local buses that pass by, just Union Station for longer trips.
