Hotel Guest Reviews of the Wellington Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The room was small but met all requirements.
Shouldn't make you pay $12 dollars for one day of wifi. thought that was absurd

The location is great. It is next to the Subway station and a few blocks from Times Square
The hotel room's picture shown on the website of the hotel and the hotel room we were given are not same. The room was very small.

If you are interested in staying near Central Park and Times Square, this is definitely a good hotel.

Just location
Wi-fi is not free. That's robbery. Rooms are small. A hobbit can live there perfectly.

If you're looking for a hotel which has a good location, this otel is ok. Do not expect anything.

I was given a free upgrade to a two-bedroom suite when I checked in!
The photos on the website are apparently from the "luxury" wing. I was in the smaller, older wing. It was still nice, but not what I expected.

This is a fine hotel right near Central Park, Carnegie Hall, and the Theater District. It's the perfect location since I only go to NYC for the theater and the arts. It felt very safe. A bonus are the two restaurants on site - a nice, more formal Greek restaurant and a "diner" with an extensive menu that also serves breakfast all day. One minor quibble is the charge for wifi. In this day and age, I expect that to be free. Overall, I'd stay there again. ...read more

It was in a great location centrally located between Time Square and Central Park. The staff was very courteous. It's a nice older hotel.
Hotel is under renovations and the 1st room they put me in was on a floor being renovated at the time and the paint fumes were extremely strong. I had to ask for a different room for the 2nd nt. Both rooms had hair in bed linens/ bathrooms. No free WIFI

Room i was given was a dissappointment. Needed a good amount of repairs. I had no control over the heat as there was no thermostat.
