This was a great hotel. The roomservice was insanely expensive but that was our fault as we sat having such a great time at the world famous bar The Round Robin. We enjoyed our time and the bartenders were great, met wonderful people! The hotel was immaculate from the public restrooms to the rooms themselves. This is worth a few extra dollars. Very close to all the historic sights! ...

I think when paying priceline prices they put you in the worst room in the hotel. I've stayed here before and hadn't experienced the lower quality room in the past.

- Don't order room service...you'll go broke - Room service after a late night of partying is a bad thing;-) - The White House & Treasury are right next door. - The doormen are great! Need a cab, they'll get it for you. - Unlike NYC taxis, the couple that we took in DC did not accept credit cards.

The hotel was in the best location in Washington DC. Easy access to everything. The staff at the hotel was beyond helpful. We enjoyed our stay and Willard made my husband's birthday trip one to remember.

The Williard is one of the landmark, old school DC hotels. The new renovated rooms are tastefully decorated and roomy, and you're only a block from the White House. Christmas is a perfect time to visit!

Everything is first class at the Willard. Priceline accepted my $155 offer. Parking is expensive so we used a public garage a block away for $25 overnight. My bride and I checked in and after a drink at the Round Robin walked to the National to take in Les Mis. On the way out, the front desk clerk waived the internet charge on her own - I was prepared to pay. Look forward to again staying at the Willard. ...

The Willard is just about the best hotel experience one can have in Washington D.C. It is just next door to the White House, and within walking distance of all the major monuments, museums, and federal buildings. What separates the Willard from other luxury hotels is its very rich history (the term "lobby" originated when president Ulysses S. Grant sat in the lobby of the Willard to accept entreaties). It has all of the amenities and services one would expect, beautiful decor, and world-class restaurants attached. Highly recommended. ...
