Hotel Guest Reviews of the Williamstown Motel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 18, 2013

If guests were coming in my house. I would have the heat on. Even if it is on low. Please do not stay here. Comments like, "Well no one has been here for two weeks" should have tipped me off. Also, "just wait fifteen more minutes it will be on" No it wasn't. I was very patient.

Small room, but OK considering the low price. Our bed was too soft, needs updating. Staff friendly and helpful.

The room was clean, small and close to my work location. My dog and I had a great dinner and rest here and I will stay with them again.

Desk manager polite and friendly, room comfortable with everything I needed for one night, great location, allowed me some walking time up the hill to the town center.

The location of this motel is literally the only thing going for it. Upon checking in at around 8PM, I was initially greeted by a locked office door. A phone call placed to the office asking for the door to be unlocked was met with "No it's not locked". Eventually the gentleman unlocked the door and allowed me to enter. Multiple problems with the check-in and I was on my way to the room.
I'm not sure what was more alarming upon entering the room, the size of it (TINY) or the fact it was 89 degrees (the thermostat on the wall). Not a single window opened and the A/C unit w/ broken knob turned off. I can understand the A/C unit being powered off to conserve electricity, but it had been mid 90's all week. You know you have someone checking in. At LEAST open the windows to air the place out.
Having plans the following morning, the heat and bed (terribly old and without any support to speak of) completely ruined my day. I was tired and sore. ...

Visiting the area only for one night. Price was a big factor in this selection, but was hoping for more. (you get what you pay for) Desk person was non-existent for 5 minutes upon check-in at office. The room though, was clean, but outdated and musty smelling upon arrival. Linens, towels, bathroom, fridge, microwave etc. were functioning, adequate and clean. A/C struggled. We didn't eat at hotel's restaurant but, it sounded good and we were offered a dinner coupon. For $70. I would weigh a higher priced hotel, but wouldn't hesitate to book another room there. Overall, a 6.5 on a 10 scale. ...

Considering the size as a problem, everything else was fine.
