Hotel Guest Reviews of the Windsor Riverside Inn
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 10, 2013

Disappointing. Wish we stayed at the Hilton next door.

Hotel seems tired, they are existing but if feels like the good old days have passed them by. As I said if you get good deal on Priceline then it's worthwhile but not the 3 start it once was

back entrance from parking garage - is very unattractive, dirty, garbage. parking very expensive. no extras in room - no refridgerator, microwave, little towels, no breakfast included bed frames make noise every time you move so kept waking you up thru out the night. no big saving when you pay the extras & taxes + parking - when booking thru priceline.

There are lots of ground level parking opportunities that are easier to get to than the hotel parking. Perhaps the Front Staff should ask about the bed arrangements rather than just handing guests a sheet to sign and the room keys!

Overall, this hotel was just fine and I would stay at the hotel again. I think it does deserve its 3-star rating but if it is not careful, it could fall to 2-1/2 stars. The reason for this is that the lobby is drab and the sitting area not really that inviting. The bed, which is a perfect sleeper bed, was also getting old, the equipment that made my bed softer/firmer did not work. However, the hotel is at a great location within downtown Windsor. You can walk to the casino, walk to the bars/restaurants and the park along the river is very nice. Shopping is not great though -- most of the shops on Ouellete are gone, which is sad. ...
