The breakfast was good.
Had a room that faced floodlights pointing at hotel. There was no way to block out the light. Hotel was very loud at night, thin walls. Was disappointed.

The room was clean and large had large TV but a few of the channels we unwatchable CBS and ABC
The taking of the deposit for extras. The charged my credit card $250.00 for a room I paid
xxx thru priceline. They said it was their policy because we went thru Priceline and not thru them. Find that very disturbing since I paid pricline in advance

I will stay again but will get a credit card with small credit limit just for them as I have family in area and will be visiting till I purchase my own place in area. The staff was nice as could ask for except the lady at check -in when she told me that they did not require the deposit but Priceline did untill I showed her my email I get anytime a charge of over
xxx is charged to my card to her. Guess she did not thing I would have seen that she charged my credit card till the statement. I did not bother me that they charged the card I just wish she was straight with me but

The room was amazing and stylish. I was blown away by the look of the place. Very well styled. Staff was very friendly and there was lots of food included in the free continental breakfast.

The staff was very friendly. The free breakfast had a great selection! The hotel looked brand new!
There was nothing tat I did not like about this hotel. I should have called the hotel directly for the best room/deal.

The hotel is located very close to the water in downtown southport (about 2 miles). There are shops within these same miles. There is a drug store and sports pub within walking distance!

After checking in our room had a king size bed & my sister and I needed two double beds. The clerk said we had to keep what priceline requested.

cont.from 18- I showed the girl the form from my computer where there was no reference to what your preference was...and after much discussion she changed our room. The free breakfast was excellent. They cleaned our room daily.

The drapery header was probably in the laundry; which allowed the exterior flood lights to shine into the room.

Newer hotel with up to date decor, excellent facilities & breakfast.
