Rooms were good. Beds comfortable. Staff was there for every request.Allison at the front desk was very helpful.

Staff was very kind and helpful.
Cleaning staff need training on attention to detail and cleaning process.

Reception people were very nice but the cleaning staff did a very poor job.

Located close to gas station (2 I think), Waffle House and the highway...Very clean, breakfast was good...would stay there again.

View from room, loose toilet, pillows, smelled (like a Grandma house, according to my husband... I didn't smell it)

The view from the room was the back of a transmission store that looked like a car junkyard. Free breakfast was nice and plentiful. Most staff was nice.... toilet in room was loose and everytime I sat on it the toilet shook like I was morbidly obese and was about to break any second. Location is off the beaten path but not too far from downtown. If you are looking for a one night stay for cheap... it works... but don't expect anything too fancy. The room was however quite large.... bigger than the hotel we stayed at on the same trip that cost us xxx more than this room. And it came with a nice oversized chair and foot rest to use. The room was GREAT! Bed was very comfortable, loved the decor, good breakfast & nice staff!

Loved this Wingate! I have stayed at many Wingate Hotels for business & I preferred this one over the others by far! Other Wingate Hotel owners could learn alot from this one.

Slightly upscale, clean, quiet.

We stayed here while visiting University of Alabama. It was pretty quick to get to the school. It's right off the highway, so it's quick to get on your way.
