Hotel Guest Reviews of the Woodcliff Hotel And Spa

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Room was spacious and comfortable..Gym and pool area very nice, spacious and clean.
Only complaint would be that the walls are thin and you can hear noise from the halls and other rooms...

After reading some reviews about the ongoing renovations, i was a little worried driving up to the Woodcliff. I can report that the renovations appear to be complete and the rooms and common areas were clean, modern and ready to go. I got my room at
xxx a night, and i would go back tomorrow. Great deal for twice that rate. My son loved the swim through indoor/outdoor pool, and the gym was modern and clean. Room was great...New flat screen tv. Beds were comfortable with nice linens.Shower was powerful and new.WiFi was powerful throughout the hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Rochester. DD ...read more

They inquired as to the purpose of our stay and when they discovered it was to celebrate my 11yr olds b day they sent up complimentary cookies and drinks! My daughter and her friend loved it!
Maybe a few kid friendly items on the room service menu would have been nice

We usually stay at the woodcliff for all of our stay-cations. Pool, room service, dining room, A+ spa, great rooms...we'll come back again!

Found a cockroach in our room when my girl friend was in the bathroom about to take a shower. I did not shower after this and stopped drinking my coffee in the mugs due to possible contamination. Told receptionist and never received a call from manager.

Not worth the price of hotel at all due to cockroaches running around. Would expect this from a single star xxx/night motel. Not a $100+ resort and spa.

Nice rooms. Pool was nice
A/C and heating units were loud and could feel the breeze in bed.

This is a nice hotel. Staff was courteous. They are undergoing a remodel at this time so there is a fair amount of construction going on on the floors above and below. Great free parking and the pool and health club were very nice. The hotel is out of the way (from Rochester) however.

The bed was comfortable.
The wall & even the artwork had water damage. Lots of high school athletes were staying in the same hall as us & were noisy. Most of the lobby was under renovation. I'm disappointed in how much I paid compared to how crummy the room was.

It is not nearly as nice as hotels half it's price so do not expect much.
