Hotel Guest Reviews of the Wyndham Garden Chinatown
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 10, 2013

Almost a perfect stay. The rooms and views are beautiful. This is one of the first hotels where I was surprised, positively, by the facility, rooms, and service. The floor to cieling windows provide stellar views, especially for higher floors. Staff is very freindly and the hotel was, by far, the highlight of my trip to NYC. The location is what it is, and, if you've been to NYC before, it will be no problem for you to get around and enjoy the city. The location is not ideal in terms of immediate surroundings (2-3 block radius), but it is conveniently located to many areas via a quick walk or cab ride, and close to the subway for longer jaunts. Also, the location actually allowed me to explore some areas of NYC I haven't spent a lot of time in before. limited breakfast option is a bummer, but that's just being picky. For the price, it was a real steal. In a city where going "cheap" (relative term in NYC) can be a real gamble, I am very glad to have found this place. The only reason this is not twice as much is because it is new and because the location may be a little "fringe" for newcomers to NYC. ...

The hotel itself is modern, clean and has a helpful staff. The floor to ceiling windows provide great views and the train stop is near by. It was great to walk just a few blocks for dinner in Little Italy. The only down side is China Town itself, it just smells badly. I felt very safe in the neighborhood but returning back from sight seeing I wanted to hold my breath in the blocks surrounding the hotel. Still, if you can deal with that, the hotel is a great value and I enjoyed my stay. Yes, I would stay there again. ...

This is a new hotel, so every piece of equipment and furniture is new and sparkling clean. Furniture is very modern, bedding is very comfortable, and the floor to ceiling windows offer amazing views. Staff very friendly, and very helpful. Internet included in room price. The shower design is indeed not perfect, as others have commented, but it works fine. The hotel is in the middle of chinatown, perfect location for those who intend to explore the location, but may not be for everybody -- keep in mind that some of the most well known tourist spots are several blocks away. But if you have business in lower east side, this is a perfect establishment. ...

Great place if you are planning to explore the Chinatown, East Village, Lower East Side, SoHo and Little Italy. Very nice and spacious room and spectacular customer service. The area might look sketchy to out of towners but it is safe. I used to live a few blocks north of this area and I was comfortable.

The hotel was in a great location, we were able to travel in the City and Brooklyn with ease. The staff was extremely helpful and gracious, they were able to anticipate our needs and accommodate them without us having to ask.
