Hotel Guest Reviews of the Wyndham Nassau Resort And Crystal Palace Casino
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 6, 2013

Be aware they will charge you a $38 nightly fee in addition to your prepaid rate for room cleaning and towels. Also, the hotel is old and dated. Beds were rock hard, Jetted bath tub in our room didn't work, food was awful, and drinks weak. Then again, you balance that with a beautiful stretch of beach, daquiris in the hut across the street, and the cocunut vendor who sells on the beach and depending on what you paid for you room you just say oh well. Personally, I expected a little bit nicer for a 3 star hotel, but at least the hotel was safe and clean. ...

When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk slapped a $40 "hotel fee" on me that was not included in the PRICELINE charge. After reviewing the fine print in PRICELINE's receipt I found a warning about this extra fee. Unfortunately, this was my foolish mistake, but it is an extremely deceptive technique that the hotel uses.
During check-in they put bands around our wrists to show that we were actually guests at the hotel. They checked our wristbands every time we entered an elevator to go up to our room and many other times and places in the hotel. I understand that they do not want outsiders in their hotel, but the wristbands were obnoxious and the elevator security made it feel like a prison.
When we got to the room there were stains all over the carpet, the balcony sliding door was broken and difficult to open, and the cabinets and bathroom were falling apart.
During our stay the hotel was under some kind of construction/remodeling. Entire sections of the hotel were eerily abandoned or closed off. The hot tubs were broken/drained.
Do not get tricked by the Wyndham website. If you do stay at this hotel, make sure you call prior to booking with any questions about the status of the casino, pool, restaurants, etc.
I had all of these complaints after staying only one night at the Wyndham Nassau Resort. I could not imagine staying there for multiple nights. ...

I would not stay at this hotel again. The decor was dreadful and it overall felt stale.

Very beautiful view of Cable Beach from the room every morning, every evening, every time! My wife was very impressed. Very friendly staffs whenever we need help for something such as car rental. I have heard that remodeling this hotel and rebuilding a new mega resort in this hotel area are ongoing. Even if you do not have a rental car, the location is convenient to get on the minibus #10 to go to Downtown Nassau. ...
